Tito Raúl Vargas

Tito Raúl Vargas Hernández is a graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Santo Tomás de Bucaramanga (USTA), Colombia, in 2003. The Spanish Education and Science Ministry recognizes him as Telecommunications Engineer in 2005. He received the M.Sc degree in Telematics Engineering in 2007 and PhD in Telecommunications in 2022 from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain.

He is a lecturer at USTA and he does research activities at Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM), UPV and USTA-UNITEL Research Group. His research activities are related to multimedia distribution over IP/optical networks, IP routing, optical switching and QoS in high-speed metro and core networks for the future Internet.
